Everything was perfect – the choice of furnishings, the price, the customer service, and especially the results. We were under contract more quickly and I believe we got an extra $5000 in the sales price because of the staging. My client made the decision to stage her 3-story townhome, located in a complex with competition from special condition properties, resales, and an active builder. Carol chose the perfect furnishings, the installation was convenient and complete, and the customer service was excellent. The service and professionalism from Creative Home Stagers is nothing but the best in the business. If you do not have your home staged while on the market you are wasting valuable time and money. I had my house on the market for five months with very little interest shown from buyers. I decided to stage the home with Carol and relist with a new agent. The house went on the MLS on a Friday afternoon and by Saturday at noon we had our first offer, it took only 20 hours to get that offer! The house showed throughout the weekend and by Monday morning there were two other parties that stated they would also like to make an offer to buy. Our house sold in just over 30 days! My house has 9 rooms and 2 hallways. Everything but 2 rooms were painted. The carpets upstairs were removed and the hardwood floors underneath were refinished. A few light fixtures were replaced with more modern fixtures. Then Carol staged the house. It took about a month for the painting and refinishing to occur because we chose to do most of the work ourselves, but only a few hours for Carol to do her thing. She is very good at what she does and gives you her honest opinion. What I appreciated was that she put the furniture and items where she wanted them to go and then slept on the ideas. The next day she came back to finish and it looked even better than the day before. My house has been on the market for about 8 days not and it has been viewed many times. This past weekend there was an open house and everyone left feedback on how nice it looks. Some seemed very interested and said they would call to see it again. Let’s hope that they do!
